Armenian Citizenship and Residency in Armenia
Legal guidance and full support for acquiring temporary, permanent, or special residency status in Armenia—tailored to your background, goals, and legal eligibility.

Our firm provides comprehensive legal services for foreign nationals seeking temporary, permanent, or special residency in Armenia. We assist with every stage of the application process—from evaluating your eligibility to submitting documentation and liaising with government authorities.

  • Temporary Residency

Foreigners may qualify for temporary residency if they have valid grounds to remain in Armenia for one year or longer. Common grounds include education, business activities, or having relatives in Armenia. The permit is issued for one year with the possibility of annual renewal.

  • Permanent Residency

A permanent residence permit is granted to foreign citizens on the same grounds as a temporary residence permit, but for a period of 5 years, with the possibility of renewal.

  • Work Permit

Foreign nationals who intend to work in Armenia must obtain a work permit, which is issued for a period of one year based on a valid employment contract with a local employer.

The work permit is a separate legal requirement that must be secured before applying for temporary residency. Our legal team provides complete support throughout the process—from documentation to final approval with the relevant authorities.

  • Special Residency

Special residency is intended for individuals of Armenian descent or those with significant cultural, scientific, or economic ties to Armenia. It is valid for 10 years and allows holders to live and work in Armenia. Applicants must undergo a legal assessment and approval process.

We help clients understand the requirements, prepare complete applications, and navigate all legal procedures with confidence and efficiency.
